The first observation God ever made of mankind, is that we need each other. We were created for community. This is no small thing… when you join the church you gain a family. You become connected to a community who will love you, pray with you, encourage you, and celebrate you.
Here are 3 ways to get further connected to God’s community:
1. Visit the Cafe
We hear incredible stories every week about the talks and prayers that happen in our cafe before or after service. There you can connect with people, chat and even have the chance to open up about what’s going on in your life with others who have been walking with God for a while. This Sunday don’t rush out, take some time to create friendships and find family.
2. Join a Crew
Crews are the small groups of New Life, designed to create a deeper sense of community and friendship. Crews are one of the best ways to get plugged into the church and they meet weekly all around the state. We hear story after story of amazing ways God is working through the crews weekly. They offer people a chance to get connected and build lasting friendships.
3. Join a Team
Serving is an important component of a Christian’s life as we seek to model how Jesus lived. Serving in God’s House is a privilege and an honor, it transforms us from a self-seeking life to one that serves others.
