When you are sincerely saved, your life takes on a radical shift toward the Lord and the things of God. You begin to speak about God, learn about Him, and mature in the things of His Kingdom.
You begin to understand the importance of not just being a recipient of God’s grace, but also, what it means to be a servant of the Lord.
There are 2 aspects of Serving that you must understand:
- Serving God produces an ETERNAL IMPACT
- Serving God prospers the HERE and NOW
“If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in
prosperity and their years in contentment.”
[Job 36:11]
The life that is under blessing is the life that is about giving and being fulfilled in God. We are created to partner with God and He is an unbelievable partner!
Serving God:
- Requires Faith
- Requires Commitment
- Requires Sacrifice
- Produces Growth
- Produces Salvations
- Produces Prosperity
Serving God is being able to answer God’s request at any time…but it is the thing that will cause you to grow on the inside and almost nothing else will.
“And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.”
[Colossians. 1:10]
