“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
Notice two key words in the first part of this verse: confidence and assurance.
Confidence and assurance is a must when it comes to our faith because we are hoping for the unseen. If we look through our natural eye we can only see clearly into the physical realm. But to be able to see spiritually, we must have the eyes of faith; eyes that see past the natural. We have to have confidence that what we hope for will actually happen. Hoping for the things we do not see requires a confident faith.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7
Faith is not just a cute belief, but an action. Notice this verse says “walk.” It is important to walk out our faith. Moving forward is impossible without action and “God won’t show you the next step until you take the first one”
We move forward by faith! We do not simply look at a problem, but we also speak life over it by faith! Don’t just look to your situation in the natural, but have the eyes of faith to see the promises of God for your life!
